John Chaffee, Ph.D. is a nationally recognized leader in the area of intellectual development, and is the author of several influential books including The Thinker’s Way: Create the Life You Want, Thinking Critically (6th Edition), and Critical Thinking, Thoughtful Writing. He is a professor of Philosophy at The City University of New York and Director of the New York Center for Critical Thinking. He conducts Critical Thinking workshops and lectures around the country. |

Jay Tucker is a specialist in the area of technology and learning. He is the Technology Coordinator for St. Luke’s School, an elementary school in Lower Manhattan, where he teaches multimedia and HTML authoring to his students. He conducts workshops for teachers on integrating technology into the classroom. |

Warren Gebert was born in Yonkers, NY. He attended the School Of Visual Arts where he studied with Jerry Moriarty. It was his unorthodox drawing exercises that allowed Warren to become the illustrator he is today. Warren was responsible for much of the artwork found in John Chaffee's textbooks, and has a web site of his own.
